FLORIDA – A Florida high school student is recovering after he was shot by an off-duty officer while playing a game called “Senior Assassin.”

In the trending game, players are assigned a senior or seniors as their targets. The players then seek to “eliminate” their target using water guns.

Unfortunately, some water guns look realistic, leading to unintended consequences.

Officials raised their concerns at a news conference after a Florida Department of Law Enforcement officer shot a Bishop Kenny High School student who was playing the game.
