Tater Tot Casserole

Who doesn’t love tots?! Here’s a great recipe I came across about 20 years ago and I still throw it into the rotation because it’s a great comfort food and kids usually love it.


1 lb. ground beef (you could substitute ground turkey, but I always use beef for this)

1 med. onion, chopped

1/2 c. celery, chopped (I omit this because I’m not a celery girl)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of celery OR cream of mushroom soup (I use celery soup for the flavor. You could use mushroom, but add the chopped celery, or do both celery. You do you!)

Preheat oven to 350.

Brown ground beef and onion. Add celery and soups (do NOT dilute the soup). Place in a 2-quart greased casserole. Place as many tater tots as you can get on top. Bake about 30 minutes or until the tots are golden brown.
